This afternoon, May 5, as part of their visit and working trip to Vietnam, the two Co-Presidents and Global CEOs of the Royal De Heus Group from the Netherlands held a working session at the Vietnam Farmers' Union (Hội Nông dân).
Mr. Luong Quoc Doan, Member of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, presided over the reception for the Royal De Heus Group and Hung Nhon Group.
The delegation from Royal De Heus Group included:
- Mr. Co De Heus, Co-President and Global CEO
- Mr. Koen De Heus, Co-President and Global CEO
- Ms. Akoba Anthoinetta Adriana, Global CEO
- Mr. Mark Dimitry Bomers, Global CEO
- Mr. Gabor Fluit, General Director of De Heus Asia
- Mr. Johan Van Den Ban, General Director of De Heus Vietnam and Cambodia
Representing Hung Nhon Group were:
- Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO
- Ms. Le Phuong Nhon, Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors
This meeting highlights the strong collaboration between these leading agricultural enterprises and a key Vietnamese agricultural organization, signaling continued efforts to advance the country's farming sector.
This visit marks the first time the two Global CEOs of the Royal De Heus Group have come to Vietnam. The trip holds significant importance, not only in strengthening cooperation between Vietnamese and Dutch enterprises but also in further solidifying the multifaceted friendship and collaboration between Vietnam and the Netherlands, especially as the two countries celebrated 49 years of diplomatic relations in 2022.
Speaking at the reception, Mr. Luong Quoc Doan expressed his strong impression of De Heus Group's global standing. De Heus products are currently available in over 75 countries, with more than 100 animal feed production factories located in the Netherlands, Poland, Indonesia, Serbia, Spain, the Czech Republic, Brazil, Russia, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Myanmar, India, Cambodia, and notably, Vietnam.

With the support from De Heus, channeled through Hung Nhon Group, Vietnam's livestock industry has gradually affirmed its position in high-tech agricultural production. A prime example of this is the emergence of the DHN High-Tech Agricultural Complex chain in the Central Highlands provinces.
From these positive outcomes, Mr. Luong Quoc Doan expressed his desire for De Heus to continue expanding its investment in Vietnam's agricultural sector, focusing on a professional, large-scale, and modern approach. He specifically called for the application of advanced technology and practical experience from the Netherlands to Vietnam's livestock industry. This, he hopes, will lead to the development of value chain linkage models that ensure stable incomes for farmers.
