Kon Tum, December 18 – This morning, De Heus Group and Hung Nhon Group, along with their partners, donated 6 monitor machines and 4,000 COVID-19 test kits to Kon Tum Province's COVID-19 Prevention Fund.
The donated gift, valued at 1 billion VND, consists of 6 Philips monitor machines from the Netherlands for patient vital sign monitoring (with 5 parameters) and 4,000 COVID-19 test kits.
Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hung Nhon Group, shared that through this handover ceremony, De Heus Group, Hung Nhon Group, and their partners wish to jointly share a part of the difficulties and contribute additional resources to strengthen COVID-19 prevention and control, as well as ensure social welfare in Kon Tum province.
Prior to this, during the fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, which began in April 2020, Hung Nhon Group, De Heus Group, and their partners donated approximately 10 billion VND in medical equipment, essential food supplies, and cash to provinces in the Southeast, Southwest, and Central Highlands regions.
Located in the northern part of the Central Highlands, Kon Tum boasts advantages in climate and land, along with a consistently developing transportation infrastructure.
According to Mr. Vu Manh Hung, in line with their long-term strategy and vision for developing a high-tech agricultural value chain and disease-free zones in the Central Highlands, and building on previous successes, De Heus Group and Hung Nhon Group successfully organized a conference on November 29, 2021. This event, titled "Discussing the Investment Plan for Building a High-Tech Agricultural Project Complex and Signing the Memorandum of Understanding with Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee," further solidified their commitment to the region.
