DHN Charity Fund: A New Force for Community Impact in Tay Ninh and Beyond

Launched at the beginning of 2024 with an initial capital of 30 billion VND, the DHN Charity Fund, co-founded by Hung Nhon Group and De Heus, is set to become a vital source of support for vulnerable communities.

The fund's core mission extends across several crucial areas:

• Supporting Agent Orange Victims: Providing valuable assistance to families severely affected by Agent Orange.
• Poverty Alleviation and Life Improvement: Actively working to alleviate poverty and enhance the living standards of residents, particularly in Tay Ninh province.
• Food Safety Advocacy: Contributing to public awareness campaigns, promoting food safety, and reducing the risk of food poisoning.
• Access to Clean Food & Healthcare: Helping disadvantaged households access clean food and assisting with medical expenses for severe food poisoning cases.

Miss Do Thi Ha Joins as Face of the Fund

Miss Vietnam 2020 Do Thi Ha, the newly appointed representative for the DHN Fund, expressed her enthusiasm: "As soon as I received the invitation and learned about Hung Nhon and De Heus's plans, I was very impressed and excited. I see a bright future, with access to fresh, delicious, and safe agricultural products from Tay Ninh province in particular, and Vietnam in general."

This collaboration between a leading agricultural conglomerate, an international partner, and a public figure underscores a strong commitment to both economic development and social responsibility, aiming to create lasting positive change in communities across Vietnam.

Miss Do Thi Ha and DHN Fund Leadership Detail Future Humanitarian Plans

Miss Vietnam 2020 Do Thi Ha, the representative for the DHN Charity Fund, expressed her honor in taking on this role. "Contributing my efforts to help disadvantaged individuals, and to raise awareness about the importance of clean, safe food for health, is a truly meaningful endeavor for me," she shared.

Ms. Vu Le Dan Thuy, External Relations Director of Hung Nhon Group and Executive Director of the DHN Fund, outlined the fund's upcoming plans. The DHN Fund will collaborate with schools in Tay Ninh and other provinces to identify students in need of support and provide them with scholarships. They will also work with food safety management units to promote food safety awareness, conduct regular health check-ups, and provide free treatment and medicine for disadvantaged children. Additionally, the fund will partner with the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee and Fatherland Front, along with local authorities, to donate "houses of compassion" and support Agent Orange victims.

Ms. Thuy further noted that since the beginning of 2024, the DHN Fund has already donated a "house of compassion" to a struggling household in Tan Chau, Tay Ninh. "Charitable activity is not just about giving; it's also a process of creation and transformation. Through our philanthropic efforts, we want to motivate and inspire people to participate in charity. This not only helps raise awareness about issues but also contributes to building a civilized society," Ms. Thuy emphasized.

Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of Hung Nhon Group, explained that the establishment of the DHN Fund was driven by the issue of unsafe food and the profound suffering witnessed in many difficult circumstances, particularly the pain caused by Agent Orange. For many years prior, Hung Nhon's staff and employees, along with the DHN joint venture, have actively engaged in charitable activities, including: providing Tet gifts, building "houses of compassion," granting scholarships, and supporting Agent Orange victims in particularly disadvantaged areas across the country.
