This morning, October 12, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), within the framework of Vietstock Expo & Forum 2022, the Vietstock Awards 2022 organizers honored Hung Nhon Group in the category of "Best Broiler Farm 2021-2022." This marks the second time Hung Nhon Group has received Vietnam's largest livestock industry award.
To earn this award, Hung Nhon Group surpassed other candidates in the category, based on criteria such as:
- Being among the Top 10 largest broiler chicken farms in terms of head count in 2021.
- Achieving the highest farming productivity.
- Maintaining the lowest production cost.
- Holding VietGAP certification or equivalent quality certifications.
- Demonstrating strong compliance with Vietnamese legal regulations and excellent product quality control.
- Ensuring superior biosecurity, disease control, and food safety.
This award marks an incredibly significant milestone for Hung Nhon Group, after nearly 20 years of formation and development, transforming into a "multi-industry" conglomerate with strong operations across various sectors in Vietnam. The group holds a particular strength in large-scale livestock farming, applying advanced technology with a closed-loop process from breeding stock and feed to processing and slaughtering, all adhering to ISO, Global GAP, and other international specialized standards.
Hung Nhon Group currently owns 15 member companies, the DHN high-tech agricultural chain (a joint venture with the Netherlands' De Heus Group), and a series of livestock farms in the Southeast and Central Highlands regions.
Key Production Capacities:
- Its broiler chicken farm system supplies the market with over 3 million chickens annually.
- Its layer hen farms provide over 130 million eggs per year.
- Its 48 clean pig farms supply the market with 9,600 sows and 250,000 breeding pigs annually.
Sustainable Practices and Milestones:
- Hung Nhon Group also utilizes livestock waste as raw material for its Dong Phu Fertilizer Plant, which has a capacity of 40,000 tons per year.
- Notably, Hung Nhon Group was the first Vietnamese enterprise to successfully export 400 tons of Vietnamese broiler chicken to Japan.
- The Group is also the first enterprise to be awarded Global GAP certification by the international certification body Control Union.

At precisely 9:09 AM on September 9, 2017, at Long An International Port (Can Giuoc District, Long An Province), the first 400 tons of Vietnamese broiler chicken were officially exported to Japan. This remarkable achievement bears the strong mark of Hung Nhon Group.

On September 9, a historic moment for Vietnam's livestock industry took place at Long An International Port as the first consignment of Vietnamese chicken was exported to Japan. The event was graced by the presence of former President Truong Tan Sang, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong, alongside leaders from various departments, agencies, and provinces including Ho Chi Minh City, Long An, Binh Duong, and Binh Phuoc.
