A series of significant events recently took place on May 19th in Tan Chau District, Tay Ninh Province, marking a major leap forward for the region's agricultural sector. These events, jointly organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, De Heus Group (Netherlands), Hung Nhon Group, and Bel Ga Group, included:

• Inauguration of the DHN Tay Ninh High-Tech Livestock Complex: This new facility is set to bolster high-tech livestock production in the province.
• Announcement of 7 Key Agricultural Investment Projects for 2025-2030: These ambitious projects signal substantial future development in the agricultural sector.
• Recognition of Tay Ninh as a Disease-Free Zone: This crucial certification will significantly enhance the province's ability to export livestock products to demanding international markets.

DHN Charity Fund Donates VND 500 Million for Housing in Tay Ninh, Provides Support to Local Families

On the sidelines of the main events in Tan Chau District, Tay Ninh Province, representatives from De Heus and Hung Nhon introduced the DHN Charity Fund. They also announced a significant donation of VND 500 million for the construction of "houses of compassion" (nhà tình thương) and "houses of gratitude" (nhà tình nghĩa) in the district.

The DHN Charity Fund extended further humanitarian gestures during the event by presenting a savings book worth VND 50 million to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Pham Thi Nam and 10 gift packages to disadvantaged families in Tan Chau District. While these gifts may not be of immense monetary value, they symbolize the deep affection and care from the DHN Charity Fund, bringing hope and motivation to families striving to overcome poverty.

DHN Charity Fund Launched with VND 30 Billion, Focuses on Key Humanitarian Areas

HANOI – The DHN Charity Fund, a non-profit initiative established by De Heus and Hung Nhon, was officially launched on May 14, 2024. At the launch event, Ms. Vu Le Dan Thuy, Executive Director, announced the fund's initial capital of VND 30 billion.

The fund is committed to financial transparency and public disclosure, ensuring all activities directly benefit the community. The DHN Charity Fund will concentrate its efforts on three primary areas:

• Supporting families affected by Agent Orange: Providing aid to those enduring the long-term impacts of the dioxin defoliant.
• Promoting food safety and hygiene awareness: Educating the public and raising consciousness about safe food practices.
• Assisting with medical costs for food poisoning cases: Offering financial support for treatment to individuals affected by foodborne illnesses.

This establishment further solidifies the commitment of De Heus and Hung Nhon to social responsibility, extending their impact beyond agriculture to crucial humanitarian causes in Vietnam.

De Heus and Hung Nhon's Long-Standing Commitment to Community Support Precedes DHN Charity Fund

Before the official establishment of the DHN Charity Fund, De Heus and Hung Nhon Group had a consistent track record of organizing impactful social activities and charitable donations. This demonstrates a deep-rooted commitment to community welfare beyond their business operations.

For instance, in late 2023, Hung Nhon and De Heus jointly held a groundbreaking ceremony for three "houses of gratitude" (nhà tình nghĩa) for impoverished families. They also distributed 300 gift packages to policy beneficiary families, those who contributed to the revolution, and other disadvantaged households, with a total value of 1 billion VND.

In addition to these initiatives, both groups regularly provided Tet holiday gifts to struggling families and awarded scholarships to underprivileged students in Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, and various Central Highlands provinces. These ongoing efforts underscore their sustained dedication to improving living conditions and providing opportunities for vulnerable communities.

Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of Hung Nhon Group's Board of Directors, stated that the company consistently accompanies the development of local areas, particularly where they have investment projects like Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc, and the Central Highlands provinces.

He emphasized that beyond contributing to job creation for local residents and ethnic minority communities, Hung Nhon regularly engages in practical social activities in these areas. These efforts aim to improve the lives of disadvantaged people and those living in remote regions.
