Hung Nhon - De Heus advance green agricultural investment in Can Tho

On April 20, 2026, Hung Nhon Group and De Heus Group paid a visit and held a working session with the People’s Committee of Can Tho City to discuss the direction for agricultural development in the 2026–2036 period. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, Chairman of the Can Tho City People’s Committee, and Mr. Tran Chi Hung, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, with the participation of leaders from local departments and agencies. Representing the business sector were Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hung Nhon Group, and Mr. Johan Van Den Ban, Chief Executive Officer of De Heus Asia and Vietnam, together with members of the working delegation.

At the meeting, leaders of Can Tho City reaffirmed their commitment to accompanying and facilitating business investment, underscoring the view that: “Only when businesses succeed can the city succeed.”

Representatives of local departments and agencies also highly appreciated the investment orientation of Hung Nhon and De Heus, particularly in the areas of centralized livestock farming, agricultural processing, value chain linkage, and hands-on training for farmers. The city also holds strong advantages in terms of high-quality human resources, transport infrastructure, and an increasingly well-developed logistics network.

The meeting was conducted in an open, constructive, and cooperative spirit, opening up many promising opportunities for future investment cooperation, with the shared goal of developing a modern, green, and sustainable agricultural sector in Can Tho.
