On March 23, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, Hung Nhon Group, De Heus Vietnam, Bel Ga Vietnam, and TTC Energy officially signed a strategic partnership in the field of solar energy.
The signing ceremony was also attended by leaders of the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee and representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
Building a Clean Energy Ecosystem in Agriculture
Under the cooperation agreement, the parties will jointly implement a series of rooftop solar power projects across farms and factories within the De Heus – Bel Ga – Hung Nhon integrated value chain. The projects will be deployed simultaneously across multiple localities, maximizing available rooftop space to generate clean electricity for on-site production activities.
Mr. Dang Huynh Anh Tuan, Chairman of TTC Energy, stated that the project has an initial capacity of 12.5 MWp, with plans to expand to over 20 MWp in 2026 and potentially scale up to 50 MWp in the future. The systems installed in 2026 are expected to generate approximately 18,500 MWh annually, equivalent to nearly 360,000 MWh over a 20-year lifecycle. This would contribute to reducing approximately 18,000 tons of CO₂ emissions per year, totaling nearly 360,000 tons over the project’s lifetime.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of Hung Nhon Group, emphasized that this solar energy collaboration represents a crucial step in the company’s strategy to develop sustainable high-tech agriculture. Since its inception, Hung Nhon has focused on building modern, closed-loop livestock farming systems that meet international standards. This strategy has been realized through the DHN project chain in Tay Ninh and the Central Highlands. To date, Hung Nhon and De Heus have jointly implemented 15 projects in these regions, with a total investment of approximately VND 12.4 trillion. Tay Ninh, in particular, has been identified as the core hub, hosting 12 projects with a total investment of VND 10 trillion, playing a central role in forming a large-scale livestock – processing – export ecosystem.
“Integrating solar energy systems into the DHN project chain not only helps optimize operational costs but also reduces emissions, enhances product value, and strengthens market competitiveness. Through our collaboration with TTC Energy, De Heus, and Bel Ga, we aim to replicate this model and gradually build an efficient, green, and sustainable agricultural ecosystem,” Mr. Vu Manh Hung added.
Toward Long-Term Sustainable Development
Mr. Johan van den Ban, General Director of De Heus Vietnam and Asia, shared:
“Integrating solar energy into our project chains in Vietnam is a concrete demonstration of our commitment. Through collaboration with TTC Energy, Bel Ga, and Hung Nhon Group in developing solar systems at breeding farms, we aim to expand green, efficient, and responsible agricultural models, contributing meaningfully to the sustainable development of Vietnam’s livestock sector.”
Mr. Ben Cliteur, General Director of Bel Ga Vietnam and Asia, stated:
“For Bel Ga, sustainability is not only about producing high-quality day-old chicks but also about how we operate our entire production system. Integrating solar energy into farms and hatcheries within our value chain helps reduce emissions, optimize energy costs, and enhance product competitiveness. Through cooperation with TTC Energy, De Heus, and Hung Nhon, we believe this model will be widely replicated, contributing to a modern, efficient, and environmentally friendly poultry production chain in Vietnam.”
From a strategic perspective, Mr. Dang Van Thanh, Chairman of TTC Group, commented that the partnership between Hung Nhon, De Heus, Bel Ga, and TTC Energy is a highly strategic decision that strengthens market positioning. He expressed confidence that each party will leverage their respective strengths and complementary relationships to achieve long-term sustainable development and deliver tangible socio-economic benefits.
At the event, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, congratulated the partners and acknowledged their contributions. He praised the positive impact that Hung Nhon, De Heus, Bel Ga, and TTC have had on the province’s socio-economic development.
He also affirmed that the province will continue to facilitate favorable conditions for the partners to expand their projects, contributing to the realization of Tay Ninh’s development planning toward 2030, with a vision to 2050.
