Tay Ninh Leaders Review Progress of DHN Tay Ninh 2 High-tech Livestock Project

Tay Ninh, June 1, 2026 – A working delegation of Tay Ninh provincial leaders, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet – Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee – paid a site visit and held a working session at the DHN Tay Ninh 2 High-tech Livestock Farming Complex. The delegation also included Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung – Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Pham Hung Thai – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation to the National Assembly; Mr. Nguyen Minh Lam – Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; along with leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

The visit took place as the project is being implemented on schedule, with the goal of commencing operations in early 2027. Once completed, DHN Tay Ninh 2 is expected to strengthen commercial poultry farming capacity within the local high-tech agricultural value chain, contribute to completing a modern livestock farming ecosystem, enhance added value for the agricultural sector, and promote sustainable agricultural economic development in Tay Ninh Province.

The working delegation of Tay Ninh provincial leaders conducted a site visit to the DHN Tay Ninh 2 High-tech Livestock Farming Complex.

DHN Tay Ninh 2, jointly invested by Hung Nhon Group and De Heus Group with a total investment of nearly VND 275 billion, broke ground in April 2026. The project serves as an important link in the closed-loop agricultural value chain under the “breeding stock – farming – processing – distribution” model, contributing to the completion of the local high-tech agricultural ecosystem.

Through systematic investment and a long-term development orientation, by 2026, the DHN Tay Ninh High-tech Agriculture Complex has become one of Southeast Asia’s leading broiler farming centers in terms of scale and capacity. The complex also aims to develop products that meet international standards and serve the high-potential Halal market, which requires strict compliance with food safety, traceability, and production process standards, thereby expanding export opportunities for Vietnam’s livestock industry.

Production Scale Linked with High-tech Livestock Farming

DHN Tay Ninh 2 is developed by DHN Tan Chau Company, a member of Hung Nhon Group, with a designed capacity of 5 million broilers per year. In addition to increasing the supply of commercial broilers, the project is also positioned as a foundational farm within the production chain serving export markets, especially those requiring Halal standards.

According to Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Hung Nhon Group: “The project is developed under a high-tech Agriculture 4.0 model, comprising 42 poultry houses with a total floor area of more than 74,000 square meters. The houses are designed as closed, optimally insulated facilities with stable environmental control. The automated management system controls temperature, humidity, and ventilation through cooling pads and high-capacity fans. The production process is digitalized through silos and automatic feed and drinking water supply systems, helping reduce losses, enhance biosafety, and meet international standards, with a focus on Halal exports.”

From Farm to Processing and Export Chain

Beyond developing high-tech farms, De Heus and Hung Nhon are expanding a closed-loop agricultural ecosystem in Tay Ninh, connecting breeding stock, farming, processing, and export. With 13 projects and total investment of approximately VND 13.1 trillion, the partnership focuses on building disease-free livestock farming zones and applying advanced technologies from the world’s leading corporations, including Bel Gà (Belgium), Big Dutchman (Germany), Olmix (France), and Boehringer Ingelheim (Germany), in order to improve productivity, quality, and competitiveness in international markets.

Looking toward 2036, the Hung Nhon – De Heus value chain aims to produce 200 million chicks, 25 million broilers for export each year, and 10,000 GGP pigs, gradually realizing an estimated revenue of approximately USD 2 billion for the entire chain.

Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Hung Nhon Group, presented an overview of the investment scale, technological solutions, and development orientation of the DHN Tay Ninh 2 Project.

Mr. Pieter Anton Frederick Buijs, General Director of Big Dutchman Vietnam, stated: “The project is not only one of Southeast Asia’s leading high-tech livestock farming complexes in terms of scale, but also an important link in the closed-loop De Heus – Hung Nhon agricultural value chain in Tay Ninh.

By applying advanced technologies in management, operation, and biosafety, the project has laid the foundation for a modern livestock ecosystem, connecting breeding stock, farming, processing, and export.

We believe that, once put into operation, the project will become a model for the high-tech livestock industry, enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese products in regional and international markets.”

Tay Ninh Aims to Become a High-tech Agricultural Complex

At the working session, Tay Ninh provincial leaders acknowledged the project’s progress and discussed with the investors matters related to infrastructure, procedures, biosafety, and the development orientation of high-tech agriculture. Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet – Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee – emphasized: “The province pays special attention to the agricultural sector, particularly high-tech agriculture, as it is directly linked to people’s livelihoods.

An overview of the working session between the Tay Ninh provincial leadership delegation and the DHN Tay Ninh 2 Project.

Through the site visit, provincial leaders highly appreciated and were impressed by the results and progress achieved by Hung Nhon. The province expects Hung Nhon and De Heus to become pioneering enterprises and play a leading role in the field of high-tech agriculture, while also supporting other local businesses to develop together.

The provincial leadership will create the most favorable conditions, acknowledge existing difficulties and obstacles, and continue to direct timely solutions to support the Group in implementing the project smoothly.”

Once completed, DHN Tay Ninh 2 is expected to strengthen commercial broiler production capacity, contribute to the processing and export chain, and promote the transformation of local livestock farming toward large-scale, biosecure, and high-tech production.

The support of local authorities in resolving challenges and ensuring project progress will also contribute to positioning Tay Ninh as a high-tech agricultural highlight in Southern Vietnam, gradually forming a modern livestock farming and food processing hub.

Delegates took a commemorative photo after the working session and site visit at the DHN Tay Ninh 2 Project.
