De Heus – Hung Nhon accompanies Gia Lai in strengthening the value chain, toward becoming an internationally recognized high-tech livestock farming hub

    On the afternoon of July 14, 2026, the conference to review Gia Lai Province’s socio-economic performance in the first six months of the year and deploy key tasks for the remaining six months of 2026 was successfully held. The conference was co-chaired by Mr. Thai Dai Ngoc – Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee – and Mr. Pham Anh Tuan – Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee.

    Speaking at the conference, Mr. Vu Manh Hung – Chairman of the Board of Hung Nhon Group – affirmed that Gia Lai is a strategic locality in the development orientation of the De Heus – Hung Nhon high-tech livestock value chain in Vietnam.

    Currently, the two parties have invested in the DHN Gia Lai High-tech Agriculture Complex, covering nearly 53 hectares with a total investment of approximately USD 40 million. In the coming period, De Heus – Hung Nhon plans to expand investment in GGP and GP pig breeding farms, while studying the development of a corn drying facility and an animal feed production plant in the Central Highlands, connected with raw material areas and direct procurement links with local farmers.

    In addition to enhancing agricultural product value, creating jobs, and completing the value chain from breeding stock – feed – farming – processing – distribution in Gia Lai, these projects also aim to promote green development, circular economy principles, Net Zero 2050, and export market expansion, particularly the Halal market.

    At the conference, the business representative also proposed that the province continue to improve raw material area planning, infrastructure, logistics, the investment environment, high-quality human resources development, and the attraction of supporting enterprises. These efforts will gradually position Gia Lai as Vietnam’s high-tech livestock farming and agricultural processing hub with international reach.
