Following the working session with the leaders of Can Tho City, the delegation conducted a field survey in the Tran De area to advance the investment plan for a sustainable, circular green agricultural value chain.
The main focus of the survey was to assess the connectivity between raw material areas in Can Tho and a future export gateway. With the Chau Doc - Tran De Expressway expected to be completed by December 2026, travel time from Can Tho City to Tran De Port is projected to be reduced to just around 45 minutes. This is considered a key factor in optimizing logistics costs and enhancing the competitiveness of agricultural exports.
The combination of Tran De’s regional potential and the high-tech agricultural strengths of Hung Nhon and De Heus is expected to help form a modern, closed-loop, and sustainable agricultural ecosystem for Can Tho City in the future.
