On the morning of October 17, the Vietnam General Association of Agriculture and Rural Development held the 11th Vietnam Golden Agricultural Brand Award Ceremony 2025 in Hanoi.
Mr. Hồ Xuân Hùng, Chairman of the Vietnam General Association of Agriculture and Rural Development, affirmed that the program aims to recognize and uphold the value of outstanding agricultural brands that have made significant contributions to the development of agriculture, farmers, and rural communities.
According to Mr. Hùng, in the first nine months of 2025, Vietnam’s agricultural sector continued to demonstrate its role as a pillar of the national economy. The export turnover of agro-forestry-fishery products reached USD 52.31 billion, up 14% year-on-year, with a trade surplus of nearly USD 16 billion—an increase of 17.6% compared to the previous year.
Key agricultural commodities such as rice, coffee, fruits, pepper, and seafood have consistently expanded their markets, further strengthening the global reputation and position of Vietnamese farm produce.
“Behind these impressive figures lie the relentless efforts, creativity, and silent dedication of millions of farmers, enterprises, cooperatives, and scientists—those who are nurturing a modern, sustainable, and globally integrated agriculture for Vietnam,” Mr. Hùng emphasized.
Highlighting the importance of brand building in the context of global integration, he noted that as the Government promotes policies to foster the development of agriculture, farmers, and rural areas (the “Tam Nông” policy), strengthening agricultural branding has become increasingly vital and strategic to achieving a modern, efficient, and environmentally friendly agricultural sector.
Former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyễn Xuân Cường and Chairman Hồ Xuân Hùng presented Certificates of Merit and Commemorative Medals to sponsors who contributed to the success and significance of the program.
Chairman Hồ Xuân Hùng stressed:
“The Vietnam Golden Agricultural Brand Program was established to honor and affirm the value of exemplary agricultural brands—businesses, cooperatives, organizations, and individuals who have made active contributions to the advancement of agriculture, farmers, and rural development. This is not only a mark of prestige but also a powerful motivation for brands to keep innovating, enhancing product quality, increasing the value of Vietnamese agricultural goods, and reaching further into global markets.”
Over the past decade, the program has played a crucial role in elevating product value and accelerating the international integration of Vietnamese agriculture.
According to the Organizing Committee, the 2025 program was launched in April 2025. After nearly six months of rigorous evaluation—conducted objectively and transparently with strong coordination from local authorities—the Central Selection Council selected 90 prestigious and outstanding agricultural brands to receive the title “Vietnam Golden Agricultural Brand 2025.”
The honored brands represent a wide range of agricultural sectors, including crop production, livestock, aquaculture, processing, agricultural technology, and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products.
Among the notable awardees are TH true HERBAL (TH Food Chain JSC), G.TEK livestock feed (Greenfeed Vietnam JSC), GREEN-TOM circular shrimp feed (De Heus Co., Ltd), Que Lam Organic Fertilizer (Que Lam Group), Dong Phu Organic Fertilizer (Hung Nhon Group), Bien Hoa Sugar (Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa JSC), and Binh Dien Fertilizer (Binh Dien Fertilizer JSC), among others.
All of these enterprises met strict criteria on product quality, safe production processes, innovation, and social responsibility. They have also actively contributed to community development, environmental protection, and the enhancement of Vietnam’s agricultural brand value on the global stage.
Today’s ceremony not only recognizes and celebrates these achievements but also serves as a platform to promote innovation, partnership, and sustainable agricultural growth in the era of digital transformation and green economy.
The Vietnam General Association of Agriculture and Rural Development expressed its hope that the business community, cooperatives, scientists, and farmers will continue to collaborate, innovate production thinking, apply science and technology, align production with market demands, and protect the environment—together advancing toward a greener, cleaner, more responsible, and globally integrated agriculture for Vietnam.
