On the morning of July 22, 2026, Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Hung Nhon, and Mr. Weera Phongphit, Deputy CEO of Hung Nhon, attended the inauguration ceremony of De Heus’ Vinh Long 4 Marine and Cold-Water Fish Feed Plant in Vinh Long Province.
The event was attended by:
- Mr. Vo Van Hung, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment;
- Mr. Phung Duc Tien, former Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment and Chairman of the Vietnam Fisheries Society;
- Mr. Tran Tri Quang, Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial People’s Committee;
- Ms. Raïssa Anais Marteaux, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event also welcomed leaders from central and local authorities; representatives of industry associations; experts and scientists; as well as leaders of leading research institutes and universities in the fisheries and aquaculture sector.
As De Heus’ first dedicated plant worldwide for marine and cold-water fish feed, the facility is expected to enhance aquaculture nutrition capabilities, support fish farmers, and contribute to the modernization and sustainable development of Vietnam’s fisheries sector.
Hung Nhon extends its warmest congratulations to De Heus and wishes the plant safe and efficient operations, while continuing to deliver meaningful value to Vietnam’s fisheries industry.

Hung Nhon - De Heus advance green agricultural investment in Can Tho
On April 20, 2026, Hung Nhon Group and De Heus Group paid a visit and held a working session with the People’s Committee of Can Tho City to discuss the direction for agricultural development in the 2026–2036 period. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, Chairman of the Can Tho City People’s Committee, and Mr. Tran Chi Hung, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, with the participation of leaders from local departments and agencies. Representing the business sector were Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hung Nhon Group, and Mr. Johan Van Den Ban, Chief Executive Officer of De Heus Asia and Vietnam, together with members of the working delegation.
