According to Ms. Tran Tue Hien, Chairwoman of the Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee, this marks the largest international investment connection forum in agriculture ever hosted in Binh Phuoc. It serves as an opportunity for the locality to showcase and promote its potential, strengths, and preferential mechanisms and policies. The forum aims to help domestic and international investors access key projects, especially those within economic zones and agricultural projects, with a particular focus on high-tech agriculture.
"The forum is also a chance for Binh Phuoc to invite reputable domestic and international businesses and investors with strong financial and technological capabilities to invest in high-tech agriculture," Ms. Hien stated. "It will facilitate information exchange with the business community and connect businesses to promote investment in the locality, especially those within EuroCham."
At this particular Forum, according to Ms. Tran Tue Hien, Chairwoman of the Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, EuroCham, various associations, and agricultural corporations will sign a series of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) for cooperation and development of high-tech agricultural investment projects.
Sharing the purpose of organizing the Forum, Mr. Gabor Fluit, Chairman of EuroCham, stated: "The Forum is an opportunity for EuroCham businesses to connect production and consumption value chains, enhance the brand and value of the locality's key agricultural products, and introduce Binh Phuoc province's high-quality agricultural products to the European market. At the Forum, EuroCham will propose and recommend solutions for the rapid and sustainable development of a high-tech agricultural ecosystem in Binh Phuoc province."
According to Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Vice Chairman of VIDA and Chairman of Hung Nhon Group's Board of Directors, with the aim of connecting businesses and investors in developing high-tech agriculture, beyond speeches assessing and commenting on investment and cooperation trends of EuroCham businesses, the Forum will feature numerous presentations and discussions from domestic and international enterprises sharing experiences in high-tech agricultural development in Vietnam in general and Binh Phuoc province in particular.
Notably, on the sidelines of the EuroCham - Binh Phuoc High-Tech Agricultural Business Connection Forum 2024, there will be investment connection activities between Binh Phuoc province and EuroCham businesses. These include surveys of Binh Phuoc province's industrial clusters and an exhibition showcasing typical local products.
