Hung Nhon Presents Gifts to Families Affected by Agent Orange/Dioxin and Disadvantaged Students in Tay Ninh

Tay Ninh, August 27 – Hung Nhon Group presented 100 gift packages, with a total value of VND 75 million, to families affected by Agent Orange/Dioxin and students facing difficult circumstances in Tan Hoi Commune, Tay Ninh Province.

The program was held ahead of the new school year, demonstrating the companies’ care and support for people facing difficulties in the local community.

Attending the program, representatives of the Tan Hoi Commune leadership included Mr. Le Anh Tam, Secretary of the Party Committee; and Mr. Do Minh Trieu, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee.

Representing the businesses was Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of Hung Nhon Group, together with representatives of the families and students receiving support.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Vu Manh Hung said that De Heus and Hung Nhon believe that business operations should go hand in hand with responsibility toward the community. Alongside investment and project development, the companies place emphasis on implementing social welfare programs that respond to the practical needs of each locality.

For families affected by Agent Orange/Dioxin, the support is not only material in nature but also serves as a gesture of care and encouragement. “The injuries and consequences caused by Agent Orange/Dioxin continue to affect generations. Therefore, the community’s collective support plays a practical role in helping affected families overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives,” a representative of De Heus shared.

For students facing difficult circumstances, the gifts presented ahead of the new school year are intended to help ease part of the financial burden on their families, while encouraging them to continue their studies, nurture their dreams and look toward the future.

“A sustainable business is measured not only by production and business figures, but also by the values it can contribute to the community,” Mr. Vu Manh Hung said.

The 100-gift program in Tan Hoi is one of a series of social welfare activities jointly implemented by Hung Nhon Group and its partners in 2026. Earlier, on the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year, Hung Nhon Group, De Heus Group and the DHN Charity Fund presented 500 gift packages and provided VND 200 million in support for social welfare activities in Tan Hoi Commune, contributing to improving the well-being of families facing difficulties in the area.

Community support activities by De Heus and Hung Nhon are also carried out in various localities where the companies invest, operate and develop their businesses.

In Can Tho, in June 2026, De Heus and Hung Nhon supported the construction of 50 Great Solidarity Houses for disadvantaged households, providing VND 60 million per house, with a total funding of VND 3 billion. The program aimed to help beneficiary households secure stable housing and gradually improve their living conditions.

According to Mr. Vu Manh Hung, the company considers its connection with local communities an integral part of its long-term development orientation. Therefore, alongside investment, production and job creation, Hung Nhon will continue to work with local authorities to implement appropriate social welfare programs, with a focus on disadvantaged families, vulnerable groups and students.
